The City of Brooklyn Park has partnered with for-profit and non-profit housing developers to purchase, remodel, and resell homes in Brooklyn Park. Funding for these activities is provided by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, the Minnesota Housing Pilot Program, and pooling of tax increment financing. The partnerships offer the following benefits to eligible homebuyers:
- Affordable homes to buyers earning less than 120% of the area median income
- Modern homes with updated kitchens and baths
- New energy efficient appliances and fixtures
- Updated exteriors with improved landscaping
