The City held an Open House on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at City Hall. Over 50 residents attended the event to learn about the progress of the Brooklyn Park Multi-Family Housing Study Group and to share their ideas on the future development of townhomes, condos, and apartments in Brooklyn Park.
The study group is preparing a report to the City Council with policy recommendations about new multi-family housing in Brooklyn Park. A draft of the report will be shared at the next community meeting on Tuesday, December 2 at 7 pm at City Hall.
Below is information that was available at the Open House. The City continues to accept comments from Open House attendees. Those who were unable to attend are invited to read up the Open House and submit a comment form. The City needs your ideas!
