The City of Brooklyn Park is pleased to provide on-line services for applying for a point of sale inspection on residential properties. Applying online will enhance service levels and convenience for residents, contractors and staff when applying for residential permits. PLEASE APPLY ONLY WHEN YOU ARE READY TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION TO THE CITY. YOU MUST USE A CREDIT CARD WHEN APPLYING ONLINE.
Please note: On vacant properties, in order to perform a full inspection, all gas, electric, and water must be turned on and operational.
If you are the owner of the property and applying for a point of sale inspection; select the application "Owner-Online Point of Sale Inspection". If you are a realtor, agent or representative for the property owner and applying for a point of sale inspection; select the application "Contractor-Online Point of Sale Inspection".
Realtors, agents or representatives when completing the online application process, please note the following:
- On the first page, select owner rather than contractor.
- Under the notes section, please indicate the owner's name and whether you are the realtor, agent or representative for the owner.
- Under the contact information, list your name as the contact person, your company's name and address. Indicate your daytime phone number under the Misc. Phone and enter your email address.
Residents, realtors, agents and representatives can view application status and inspection results online by entering the Application Number which is found on the application.
