Brooklyn Park is looking for young people who would be interested in serving on city boards as youth representatives. Advisory seats would be available on our Citizen Long-range Improvement Commission (CLIC), which sets direction and goals for the city; the Human Relations Commission (HRC), which promotes diversity within Brooklyn Park and City Hall; the Parks and Recreation Commission, which addresses parks and public recreation programs, and the Charter Commission, which governs the city’s constitution.
This youth advisory seats would be for a one year term, beginning in September and continuing through the following August. Youth must be at least 15 years old and a resident of Brooklyn Park. There will be two seats available on each commission. If you have any questions please contact
