The Summer Blossom Awards Program highlights attractive gardens and landscaping in Brooklyn Park. This competitive program annually recognizes and rewards citizens and businesses that strive to improve the City’s landscape and runs from May 27th through July 7th, 2008.
Grand Winners in each of the following categories (Single Family, Townhome, Neighborhood Garden & Commercial) will receive a gift certificate with a cash value of $150, an engraved garden paver and formal recognition from the Brooklyn Park City Council.
Entries for Summer Blossom Awards must be located in the City and may be nominated by anyone including neighbors, contractors or the gardeners themselves. You may nominate more than one property. Entries must primarily feature flowering plants, trees, shrubs, ground cover, perennials, retaining walls, arbors or water features to create a visually significant summer long display of flowers. The garden / landscape must be well maintained through the growing season and have a positive visual impact on the neighborhood.
