Firefighter Pension Plan
The following applies to those who are participating members in the
Brooklyn Park Firefighters' Relief Association retirement benefit program.
The firefighter pension is administered by the Brooklyn Park Firefighters' Relief Association. The Association is a governmental entity that receives and manages public money to provide retirement benefits for individuals providing the governmental services of firefighting. Each active firefighter, upon approval of a membership application, shall have an individual account established as defined by the bylaws and state statutes.
