Description:   This crime consists of unlawful entry or attempted entry into a business with the intent to commit a crime.

How can you reduce your chances of being a victim?

• Check doors and windows before closing to make sure they are locked
• Have good lighting on the exterior of the building
• Leave an interior light on to increase outside visibility
• Install a video surveillance system
• Install an alarm
• Install pry plates over the locks on all exterior doors
• Install high quality locks
