Eidem Homestead truly comes alive with our lively, down home concerts, night-time movie showings and special events. You don't want to miss any of these unique homestead experiences. 

Tater Daze at Eidem, June 16 to 17

Bake Contest

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Do you love to bake or can? Consider entering our annual bake contest. Contest categories include: Sweet Treats, Pastries and Breads, Canned Items, and (NEW) Featuring Potato. Contestants will be broken into two age groups: 10 to 17 years old, and 18 and up; ribbons for 1st to 3rd place and a grand prize winner for each age group category.

All entries must be submitted by 11:30 a.m. with a completed entry form. Entries will be accepted at Eidem Homestead from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.; ONLY canned items will also be accepted at Eidem from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 16. Judging of entries will run from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

CANCELLED -- 1860s Baseball Contest

Calling all baseball players and enthusiasts! Eidem will be hosting an 1860s baseball tournament. If you love to play baseball and ever wondered how the game used to be played, join us for a fun day of cheering on your hometown teams while they play America's original favorite past-time! Concessions available for purchase

Community members interested in participating in the tournament can register a team. Visit our website for a team registration form and more info. Registration deadline is April 28.

Looking for a fun night out? Well, come take in a picture show under the starts. Bring along picnic blankets, chairs, and warm clothes. Round up the family or grab a friend, you won't want to miss this! Rainout date is August 25. Snacks available for purchase.

National Treasure (2004)

Ever since he was a boy, Benjamin Gates has been obsessed with finding the legendary Knights Templar Treasure, the greatest fortune known to man. Hidden by America's Founding Fathers, who hid clues to its whereabouts right before our eyes, Gates must decipher and follow the clues to find the treasure. In a race against time, he must steal one of America's most sacred documents before it and the treasure falls into the wrong hands, all while eluding the authorities.

Runtime is 2 hours 25 minutes. Rated PG.
