  • No refunds for nonrefundable costs due to weather beyond our control

Chanhassen Dinner Theatre

Enjoy “The Complete Beatle Experience” at the Sheldon Theatre. Let's go out to a ball game

CHS Field is where we are going to see the St. Paul Saints baseball team versus the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. The Saints are a member of the North Division of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.

Minneapolis Pops Orchestra and Minnehaha Falls

This day of adventure has been a popular trip for many years now, and it does fill fast! We will travel to the Nicollet Island Pavilion and enjoy the talented Minneapolis Orchestra. We will be treated to coffee, rolls and a potpourri of music. The concert is held at the indoor pavilion, so you won’t have to worry about the heat or rainy weather. Bring a light jacket; the air conditioning works well. Following the concert we will enjoy a box lunch at Minnehaha Falls.

Around town sightseeing tour

People who have lived in the Minneapolis area all their lives find this day a great experience.  Many sites remind you of years past, while others are new or changed.

We will see the birthplace of Minneapolis at St. Anthony Falls and the historic riverfront area. Hear about the milling industry and the “Mississippi Mile.” In downtown, view the buildings that create its ever-changing skyline including Target Center, Target Field, U.S. Bank Stadium and more. See the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Gardens. Drive through the U of M Campus. Drive through Lowertown and hear about the history of the city’s beginnings. Drive past CHS Field (home of the St. Paul Saints), the magnificent St. Paul Cathedral and the State Capitol. We will continue the tour in St. Paul to view the Victorian mansions along Summit Avenue, where the Governor’s Residence and James J. Hill House are located.

Following the guided tour, we will eat at the Cherokee Tavern

A day in Huntchinson, Minnesota

Join us for a trip to the Garlic Festival in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

What a better way to experience the beauty of Minnesota than to explore our own backyard. We will be stopping in Glencoe at Bump's Family Restaurant for the breakfast buffet. Then onto Clay Coyote Pottery Studio where we will be treated to a studio tour and have an opportunity to shop. Then, onto McLeod County Fairgrounds for the Minnesota Garlic Festival.

There are over one hundred varieties of garlic, all planted in the fall, harvested in July, and cured to perfection in August. The festival's venue includes some fantastic foods, marvelous music, area artisans, goofy games and all things garlic.
