Your voice matters. The future of your neighborhood parks is up to you.

Is your neighborhood park fitting the needs of you and your neighbors? Are there enough amenities? Does it meet the needs of our residents who come from various cultural backgrounds? The City’s Recreation and Parks Department is putting together a system plan, which will guide the future needs of every neighborhood park in Brooklyn Park.

No plan can be successful without feedback from those the plan will affect. That's why we need your input!

This summer, you can contribute your ideas about the future of our parks by attending a Community Engagement Event to give your input in person. Your feedback will help shape the future for decisions about our parks, trails, and recreation facilities.

Our pledge is to continue to work with you to develop a parks and recreation system that continues to build community pride and attracts families and businesses to stake claim in Brooklyn Park as their home.
