Candidate forum for the Brooklyn Park City Council and State seats. All are welcome to attend.

The success of our cities depends on the values, knowledge, and commitment of our City Council members.

Agenda

  • 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Brooklyn Park City Council candidates
  • 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. State Senate (36, 40) and Representative (36B, 40A and 40B) candidates

Nonpartisan expectation and rules

Both the forum itself and recordings available after the forum are intended to be nonpartisan. We expect the forum to be video recorded by members of the media and to be made available on YouTube and social media.

Video taping, audio recording, and photographing are not allowed during the forum.

Because this is a nonpartisan forum, campaign literature, buttons, signs, clothing, and other items are not allowed in the forum room.

Voting process

These candidate won the primary election on August 9 and will appear on the ballot for the General Election on November 8. The candidates who gets the most votes during the General Election will be your representatives.
