Open house for the reconstruction of Bottineau Boulevard between 83rd and West Broadway.
You are invited to an open house for the reconstruction of Bottineau Boulevard (County Road 81) between 83rd and West Broadway avenues.
We will not have a formal presentation, but construction staff will be on hand to provide a project overview including anticipated layouts, 3D renderings of the design concept and tentative construction timeline.
This is an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the construction activity.

Overview of the project
This is one of six segments of Bottineau Boulevard that are being reconstructed.
Improvements along the corridor include:
Better connections to side streets and frontage roads
New traffic signal systems
Improved stormwater systems
These improvements will make the road safer for all users, provide better traffic flow and reduce congestion and delays.
Between 83rd and West Broadway avenues in Brooklyn Park
The reconstruction will include pavement upgrades, drainage improvements and underground utility work. There will also be a number of safety improvements, including:
For motorists, the road will include the addition of through lanes, dedicated turn lanes and traffic signal replacements.
For pedestrians, there will be sidewalk curb ramp replacements, accessible pedestrian signals and countdown timers.
For bicyclists, the Crystal Lake Regional Trail will be extended along Bottineau Boulevard and shared use paths will be added along Brooklyn Boulevard.
The project for this segment is in its design stage, with construction anticipated to begin in spring 2019.
