Open to girls ages 5 to 19 living in and around the Brooklyn Park area.
Whether a beginner or experienced player, girls are placed on teams that match their skills and are designed to help them learn and improve.
Season dates
The spring/summer league runs April through July.
Registration
Individuals register through the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Park Department in January. Team registrations will be taken for 16U and 19U.

Whether a beginner or experienced player, girls are placed on teams that match their skills and are designed to help them learn and improve. We also offer a fall league especially designed to help girls new to fast pitch learn the game and try it out.

Tryouts are held in March. The spring/summer league runs April through July.
Fall league runs August to September with games held on weekends.

Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) winter baseball
Open to all youth ages 6 to 12. The is a fun and organized way to practice baseball skills during the winter months.
Season dates
Brooklyn Park baseball winter dome nights will be held on Monday nights starting in January.
Registration
Registration will begin in the first week in November. Register early because sign-up spots are limited!
Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) baseball and Babe Ruth baseball
Brooklyn Park baseball and Brooklyn Area Babe Ruth offers competitive baseball for boys and girls ages 5 to 19 who live in Brooklyn Park and surrounding communities.
We have both house leagues (competitive and instructional) and traveling leagues to accommodate all levels of experience and abilities.
Season dates
Our program begins practices in mid to late April. Games typically start the first weekend in May and will continue into late June or early July.
Registration
Sign up at a registration session or online. Registration sessions are intended for those who would like guidance with the registration process. Online registration will be live on January 1, 2018.

Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) soccer
Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) Soccer is a recreational-level soccer program for boys and girls, ages 6 to 18.
Season dates
The season begins July 10 and runs through August 10 with a season-ending tournament running August 11 to 13.
Cost
The registration fee is $75. Late fee is $20.
Registration
Registration for the current season opens March 20. Late registrations are accepted May 20 to June 23, if space is available.
In-person registration
In-person registration is on May 2 and May 10, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Community Activity Center.

Registration for players will be open in August. All registration information and fees can be found at nmyha.com. Returning players will receive a $50 discount for early registration.

Taste of Hockey event
Not sure if you want to play hockey? Try hockey for free with the Taste of Hockey event! This clinic will introduce the game, with an emphasis on having fun, with basic skating and hockey skills added in.

The cities of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center offer house league basketball. Our program emphasizes fun and equal participation for all players.
Grades
For boys and girls in grades 1 through 12.
Season
Programs run from November to March.
Registration process for the 2019-20 season
Registration began August 1 via the BPAA website. Payment by credit card or checking account only.
Assisted in-person registration
If you would like assistance with registering your player or you can only pay with cash or money order, you must attend one of two in-person registration sessions.

Financial assistance
We prefer that you attend one of the in-person registration dates to apply for financial assistance. Once the scholarship form is approved, you will receive a discount code via email to complete your registration online.
Late registrations
Late registrations may be accepted, for an additional $20 fee, if teams in that league still have openings. Players must attend a minimum of two practices prior to participating in games.
Refunds
Refunds are only issued prior to the start of games. A $20 processing fee will be deducted from the original amount. Refunds are processed in December.
Participation rules
All players will be assigned to teams by current grade. This program does not allow players to play up a level or grade nor are players accepted who are already rostered on a traveling team. Players registered with a school team (excluding senior high) will be accepted.

Qualifications
Players must reside in (or attend) Park Center High or Brooklyn Center Schools’ attendance area. Open to all boys and girls in grades 4 through 8.

Must pay with a credit or debit card. Payment installments are available.

Try-outs
Players must be registered and paid in full to try out.
Uniform costs
All players are required to purchase their own new uniforms. The league is getting new uniforms this year; therefore, all players are required to purchase new uniforms. The cost is $100 for both jersey and shorts.
Players will need to select new numbers as well (previous jersey numbers will not carryover). Numbers will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis when you register for next year.

If you would like help, attend any one in-person registration event at the Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave. N., in September.
Tournament
We host an annual tournament on January 6 and 7 at Brooklyn Middle School and Park Center. Stop by to watch games and learn more about traveling basketball. Brackets will be posted on our website the week before the tournament.

For boys and girls ages 6 to 14. Lacrosse combines the basic skills used in soccer, basketball and hockey into a fast-paced, high-scoring game.

Force Soccer Club
Formerly Northwest Kickers and Rebels Soccer Clubs.
Traveling youth soccer
For ages 8 to 19.
The FORCE Soccer Club is committed to providing the best traveling youth soccer experience for players and their families who live in Brooklyn Park and Champlin and their surrounding communities at an affordable cost. The club offers extensive professional training for all skill levels and strives to develop both soccer and life skills (teamwork, commitment and a passion for the game) in all players. Spring and fall seasons are offered, as well as indoor winter training.
Junior Academy
For ages 4 to 5.
The FORCE Junior Academy program is a fun-filled introduction to soccer. Players are introduced to the fun world of soccer dribbling, passing, goal scoring, and fun games. Club trainers and parent volunteers will work hard to provide a great opportunity for your soccer player’s education in the game and help to develop physically, cognitively, and socially.

For ages 6 to 8.
The FORCE Academy is a structured development academy committed to the technical development of its soccer players. Its emphasis is a spirit of commitment, sportsmanship, teamwork and accountability to develop the necessary technical and tactical knowledge that is required to play competitive soccer. All trainers follow a standard core age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on the mastery of key elements. This will enable the soccer player to play the game successfully, build confidence as participants while continuing to physically and mentally develop as soccer players. In addition to excellence on the field, soccer players build character by developing self-confidence, leadership, and creativity in the game as they move into the FORCE Soccer Club travel program.

Kickers FC is one of Minnesota’s most successful U9-U19 Youth soccer programs in the state of Minnesota.
Kickers FC offers Excellent Training, coaching and multiple levels of competition at an affordable cost.

Little Kickers Academy 4-6 years
Little Kickers Academy is a fun filled introduction to soccer for young players aged 4-6 years old. Getting all the young players tuned onto the game while having a fun time with their friends. Kickers FC takes the players on a journey through high energy Adventure Soccer activities and games. Having these young players use their imagination and being creative is very important to the young soccer player development. Each individual works on their ABC’S – Agility, Coordination and Balance while having fun developing their love of the game!
U8 Academy 7 & 8 years
U8 Academy has developed a proven structure for player development to prepare the players for competitive travel soccer. The players will be engaged through high energy coaching with fun skilled development games as well as small sided game play.
The U8 Academy players have two days a week to learn good habits in their training field and a game day, where they can work on creating a positive team environment while learning by doing on the field.
