About our swimming lessons
Our swimming lessons follow the American Red Cross Learn To Swim program for children ages 6 and over. We have also developed our own preschool swimming program for children ages 3-5 with successful results for over 15 years.
Our swimming lessons are held at two different locations: Brooklyn Junior High School (7377 Noble Ave.) and Jackson Community Pool (6000 109th Ave N). Be sure to check individual session listings for the exact location.
Selecting a level
When selecting a level for your child, please refer to the descriptions of the skill levels and choose the one that most closely fits your child’s ability. It is common for some children to repeat a level several times before advancing onto the next level. It is our philosophy that if a child is between levels, that they be registered for the lower level to give them additional time for skill development. We prefer to ensure success at a lower level than have a child struggle in an advanced level they are not ready for.
