Summer Camps

Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks Summer Camp

Summer camps have a tremendous impact on young people. Having a chance to spend quality time with our young adult staff leaves a lasting imprint on campers. It allows them time to develop character strengths and social-emotional skills necessary to their future success. We strive to bring out the best in every child by filling their days with meaningful experiences and fun.

Spend the summer at one of our great camps right in your neighborhood! Take part in science, nature exploration, arts and crafts, games, literacy, active play and more. At camp we take time to hang out with old and new friends. Weekly themes add to the fun.

Why are we here?

Since 1965, the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks Department has provided the best parks, facilities, and programs for our residents. We are passionate about the impact recreation has on learning and quality of life. Summer camp is a great way to get outside, try new things, and have a lot of fun!

Who comes to camp?

Our summer camps are for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 7th grade who love to be outside, work together, and have fun. We also have specialty programs for preschoolers aged 3.5 to 5 and teens ages 13 to 15.
