Community Gardens

Community garden plot in Brooklyn Park

Grow your own vegetables and flowers while cultivating a sense of community! 

General information

  • Garden plots are 20’ by 20’.
  • City provides plot and water access, gardeners are responsible for tilling, planting, weeding, etc.
  • No refunds after May 1.
  • All gardens must be attended to by May 31, planted by June 10, and have something planted the entire season.

Eidem Homestead, Noble Parkway and 101st Avenue North

Southbrook Park, 62nd and Douglas Drive

Cost

$50 per season

Requirements for applicants

  • A copy of a photo ID with corresponding address
  • Full payment
  • Signed rules contract
  • Signed application form

Office hours (these are not the hours for open skate)

Sunday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

June through August office hours

Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, closed unless we have a scheduled event or activity.
Hours may vary based on events and activities.
