Park System Plan

What is a park system plan? A park system plan is a 10-year plan that will identify current and future needs, priorities and improvements for all our parks, trails and recreation programs.

Why are we doing this? We love our parks and we're getting close to having all of our land fully developed; now is the time to evaluate if open land needs to be identified for future parks and recreation facilities.

Starting point: We are not starting from scratch. We will be revisiting our Parks Master Plan done in 2012 to reaffirm our residents' desire for parks and reviewing the input gathered from the Brooklyn Park 2025 community plan about parks and facility needs and interests.
