About the Police Department
The Brooklyn Park Police Department is committed to ensuring the delivery of professional law enforcement services to the residents and visitors of Brooklyn Park by enforcing the law in a fair and impartial manner and where the community can have a sense of security.
Our department consists of 108 licensed, full-time police officers and 52 full- and part-time non-sworn staff. All members of the police department incorporate “service, justice and courage” in all work performed.

All 9-1-1 calls go through Hennepin County Dispatch and if you wish to have an officer respond to your location, it’s important that you call 9-1-1.
