New operating hours for Police Department's Village Creek Community Station

Effective Friday, January 1, 2016, the Brooklyn Park Police Department's Village Creek Community Station located at 7608 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, will be implementing new hours of service. This location will be open to the public between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., 7 days a week. The phone available to the public inside the front doors of the Village Creek Community Station will remain accessible during the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for citizens to contact 9-1-1. Officers will continue to respond to Village Creek Community Station to take reports from the public, even when the station is closed.

The main Brooklyn Park Police Station, located at 5400 85th Avenue North, will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Brooklyn Park Police Department provides a variety of services to the community including emergency response, calls for service, investigative resources and providing needed documentation to residents.

The mission of the Brooklyn Park Police Department is to provide a safe and orderly community through the delivery of professional police services, for all who live, work and visit the City of Brooklyn Park.

  • We work together with the community and our partners to implement long-term strategies to reduce crime and increase livability in our city

Police reports

Anyone may request public information created and maintained by the Brooklyn Park Police Department. To request a copy of a police report, please visit our north or south precinct, hours listed at bottom of this page. In most instances, you will be required to pick up the report in person from one of our locations, however, you may make your request by email.
